A Checklist to Follow When Hiring an Event Nanny

Life takes a dramatic turn after kids are born, and it doesn’t stay the same for a long time, until the kids become mature enough to manage themselves. Small kids often come in between a lot of things, like parents and their quality time, sleep schedule, dinner dates, and the number of events. Given how fuzzy kids can be, it almost becomes impossible to attend events, even of closed ones.

However, with the emergence of event nannies Mallorca, attending events has become possible as someone can escort you to the venue and look after your kid while you enjoy your time there. But, you just can’t hire anyone who claims to be a nanny, and must follow a checklist before hiring them, which we are sharing here.

    Background Check

Before you assess the experience or anything else, it is important that you run a background check. If you are hiring an independent event nanny, check for her criminal records, ask for the valid papers, ID, and ask for a number you can reach out to in case of an emergency. If you are hiring the nanny from a company, ask them to send over the same details. The safety of your kids must be the priority.

    Experience and Expertise

Hiring a nanny without experience and expertise can turn the entire event upside down. This is not something where you can take the risk of hiring someone fresh, as managing and looking after kids at an event full of people is no joke. The nanny must have some first-hand experience in managing kids in a crowd.

    Availability

Before you hire the nanny, make sure to ask about their availability and confirm the same. You would not like to wait in all decked-up attire, holding your kid’s hand and waiting for the nanny to arrive. The timings have to be communicated clearly to ensure they make it on time. In this case, hiring a nanny from an agency will be fruitful because they can send you a replacement if the assigned nanny doesn’t turn up.

Event nanny service has addressed the most common issue every parent goes through, and is indeed a blessing. Hiring them gives you the freedom to enjoy your event while your kids stay near you, but are managed by a professional.
